Corin Maberly
Corin founded Maberly & Co in 2014 and leads the firm’s commercial law practice. He has 25 years’ legal experience and works across New Zealand and throughout the Pacific. Corin advises NZX-listed companies, multinationals and NZ Government agencies on projects across wide range of sectors (technology, energy, construction, health and defence). He has expertise with sourcing strategies and responses to NZ Government requests for proposals, bid management, government relations on major procurements and has significant experience running negotiations in competitive processes. Fortunate to have worked in top tier law firms in Auckland and London, Corin was also a founding partner in an international boutique law firm. He has also worked as an in-house lawyer for both listed companies and start-ups, with responsibilities across the UK, Europe, United States, Africa and Australia. Corin has been consistently ranked over the past 10 years as a leading lawyer in various legal guides including Chambers Asia Pacific, Legal 500 and Who’s Who Legal.
Catherine Marks
Catherine has more than 20 years legal experience and specialises in administrative and regulatory law and public law litigation. She was a partner in a UK law firm specialising in local Government and Government law before returning to New Zealand in 2005. A key area of specialisation is regulatory work in the electricity, gas, telecommunications and banking sectors. Catherine's public law experience includes advice on public sector procurement and governance issues, law reform and judicial review.
Mark Williamson
Mark Williamson is a leading commercial and projects lawyer with market leading experience in procurement, construction, and regulation (including trade practices laws). He has over 20 years' experience advising both local and international clients in a range of sectors including local government, FMCG, insurance and life sciences. Emma Moran
Emma is an experienced litigator who specialises in dispute resolution and commercial litigation. She is an effective advocate who has experience representing clients at most levels of Courts, before specialist tribunals, in mediations and at arbitration. Her core work is advice and litigation focused on regulatory, government, corporate and insurance clients across New Zealand and globally. She has a particular focus on public law, building and construction, and life sciences regulatory issues.
