Saul Holt QC is a Brisbane based Barrister practicing predominantly in Queensland, Victoria and New Zealand. Saul was a Crown Prosecutor in New Zealand for 9 years and was appointed Senior Crown Counsel in 2005. He appeared in trials, appeals and public law litigation. Until 2013, Saul was Chief Counsel at Victoria Legal Aid leading a specialist team of 22 in-house barristers in civil, family and criminal law. In 2012 Saul was appointed Queens Counsel and a Victorian Law Reform Commissioner. Saul appears regularly in all forms of public law litigation including criminal and quasi criminal trials and appeals and public law litigation including judicial review, environmental law and constitutional law.
