Katherine Forward
Katherine has extensive experience in all aspects of environmental and resource management law and supports rural and urban clients nationwide. She delivers commercially relevant and client focussed advice to environmental problems in any context – corporate transactions, development projects, day to day operations, planning/ policy, prosecution and climate change considerations. Recent work experience includes advising joint Council business units on community infrastructure projects, including wastewater management and disposal, representing primary sector industry groups on appeals to the Environment Court against the Southland Water and Land Plan, urban planning and residential rezoning in Canterbury, and environmental risk mitigation. Katherine is adept at building endurring client relationships and is used to working as part of a multi-discplinary team. She is a seasoned advocate in all jurisdictions. Katherine regularly writes articles, presents seminars, and provides tailored training to clients on a wide range of environmental issues.
