John Farrow
John Farrow is a Partner co-leading Anderson Lloyd's national employment team. He specialises in Employment and Health & Safety law. John's expertise covers the full range of employment matters, including those which involve criminal and civil aspects. John has represented employees, senior executives, small to medium businesses, councils, local authorities, and corporates. He is a LEADR-accredited Mediator, Member of the Institute of Directors and is an 'Association of Workplace Investigators' Certificate-holder. John is named in the 'Best Lawyers in New Zealand' publication, Labour and Employment Law category, and as a 'next generation partner' in the Legal 500.
Marie Wisker
Marie Wisker advises clients on a wide variety of commercial disputes, specialising in employment law and health and safety. Marie works with a number of the firm's key clients, many of whom are large employers. Her broad range of general commercial experience means that she is able to provide practical advice relevant to the clients' commercial objectives. Marie assists clients on the full range of employment and health and safety matters. She has represented clients in numerous mediations and hearings, has experience in acting for employers on health and safety investigations and prosecutions and works alongside clients to help them understand the new health and safety regime. Marie helps clients manage employment and health and safety risks through compliance advice and training, and she has spoken at a number of conferences on both employment and health and safety. Marie is recommended by Legal 500 Asia Pacific 2016. She is also recognised as an "associate to watch" by Chambers Asia Pacific 2016.
Tanzam Hossain
Specialising in employment law and health and safety, Tanzam advises clients on a full range of contentious and non-contentious matters. She has worked on a range of employment law matters, with a particular interest in disputes and litigation. Tanzam regularly attends mediation with the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment and has appeared before the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court. Tanzam also advises clients on their health and safety obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015. She has acted for employers in health and safety investigations and prosecutions. Tanzam is recognised as a future leading lawyer in Doyles Guide: Employment and Workplace Health and Safety Rising Stars 2022.
Charlotte Parkhill
Charlotte is a partner in Dentons Kensington Swan's Auckland employment team. She advises on all areas of employment law, helping a wide range of clients deal with complex employment issues. Charlotte is also the current Chair of the Board of the Auckland Business Chamber, which provides her with insight into the Auckland business environment.
Anthony Drake
Anthony is an employment law specialist of over 20 years' experience and deals with all aspects of contentious and non-contentious issues including litigating employment disputes, engaging in collective bargaining on behalf of employers, advising on recovery of confidential information, and advising on all manner of employment-related issues. Anthony has managed many complex cases and has significant experience with mediations and alternative dispute resolution as well as judicial settlement conferences. As a founding member of the New Zealand Serious Fraud Office, he managed many leading and complex fraud investigations and prosecutions. He has subsequently acted for a wide range of major domestic corporates, the New Zealand Government and various local government agencies, and state-owned enterprises in this area, as well as acting for individual and private clients. Anthony is a regular commentator and presenter on employment law issues. He is a current contributing author to the employment law section of LexisNexis Forms and Precedents, and OneTrust DataGuidance.
