Presenters
Kylie Mutch
Kylie Mutch is a senior associate in Chapman Tripp’s construction and major projects team, based in the Auckland office. She works with a range of contractor and developer clients – including government agencies – from project inception to completion. Kylie has advised on projects across a wide variety of sectors, including residential, commercial, mining, energy and infrastructure. She has experience working with a variety of standard template forms of construction and consultancy agreements, as well as bespoke contractual arrangements on more complex deals.
Jennifer Caldwell
Jennifer specialises in resource management, environmental and local government law, with extensive experience as a strategic adviser and specialist litigator in the Environment Court, High Court and higher courts. She is a leading New Zealand lawyer advising on consent and designation projects and strategic planning processes. In October 2017, Jennifer was instrumental in Buddle Findlay’s appointment to the Supporting Growth Alliance, a five year programme of route protection for transport infrastructure to support Auckland’s growth over the next three decades. Jennifer’s experience as Alliance Manager on the East West Link project in Auckland and Legal Director with ALDAR Properties PJSC gives her unique insights into the efficient and effective provision of legal services to complex clients.
Lizzy Wiessing
Lizzy Wiessing is a member of Kate Sheppard Chambers and has been at the Independent Bar since June 2021. She has a professional background in policy analysis, and local government, public law and civil litigation legal issues, having worked in the local government space throughout her career. She has advised on a wide range of infrastructure matters, including acting for applicants for resource consent and advising on development of the Infrastructure Funding and Financing Act 2020, advising on the funding and financing of local authority infrastructure, and reviewing matters arising from large infrastructure projects.
