Presenters
Richard was called to the Bar in 2013. He specializes in advising and appearing in matters involving federal tax, state tax, commercial law, equity and trusts.
He has appeared for taxpayers, the Commissioner of Taxation and the NSW Chief Commissioner of State Revenue. He has acted for clients during tax audits, tax objections and appeared in the Federal Court, the Administrative Appeals Tribunal, the Supreme Court of NSW and the Civil and Administrative Tribunal of NSW.
Richard holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Finance). He is also a Chartered Accountant and a Fellow of The Tax Institute. He is currently studying toward a Masters of Law at the University of Sydney.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Richard spent 10 years working in Tax & Legal at PwC, where he worked on a broad range of local and multinational clients’ affairs, with a particular focus on income tax in relation to companies, trusts and partnerships.
