Peter Kelso
Peter Kelso has retired from active practice after over 40 years of practice as a solicitor. Over that period, Peter worked in a number of areas, particularly in debt recovery and insolvency, and in the field of local government town planning and land use law, with a special emphasis on the complex topic of the determination of compensation for the compulsory acquisition of land. He is the author of a number of publications for major law publishers in his chosen areas of expertise, including a chapter on Receivers in Halsburys Laws of Australia, a number of topics in the online service LexisNexis Practical Guidance and a co-author of the annotated Local Government Act for LexisNexis. He also lectures frequently.
Lara Nurpuri
Lara Nurpuri was called to the bar in 2018, after practicing as a solicitor with a leading law firm for over seven years. As a solicitor, she acted for hundreds of owners whose land or interest was acquired as a consequence of projects in NSW and QLD including the Pacific Highway upgrade, WestConnex, North West Rail Link, Prince of Wales Hospital redevelopment, and the Northern Road Upgrade. During this time, Lara successfully negotiated outcomes for owners ranging from smaller residential properties to large corporations or entities with complex claims, both pre-litigation, or by appeal to the Land and Environment Court. At the bar, Lara accepts briefs in all matters within the jurisdiction of the Land and Environment Court, including compulsory acquisition, development appeals and environmental crime. In addition, Lara practices extensively in the Supreme Court within the Equity division in matters relating to property and family provision.

Peter is an Accredited Specialist in Property Law. He is highly regarded for his unparalleled technical knowledge of NSW property law and practical experience across the diverse spectrum of property transactions occurring in business and in government.
