Emily Moore
Emily advises and assists Trans-Tasman businesses with their NZ employment matters, having spent over 15 years working in and with a range of New Zealand and Australian businesses and industries, from multi-national IT and telecommunications companies through to SMEs and scaling start ups. Having worked in both Australia and New Zealand, Emily understands the different approaches required when managing staff in each of the two countries, making her well-placed to assist Australian practitioners with NZ-based employment matters. Originally qualified as a NZ lawyer, Emily has spent most of her career working as a senior in-house lawyer in Australia, recently holding General Counsel and Head of Legal positions leading legal teams in Sydney where she worked alongside business representatives at all organisational levels. Alongside her employment law specialty, Emily provides a range of day to day commercial advice working with NZ and Trans-Tasman businesses. Her approach is to provide clear, accessible and practical advice that helps people get things done.
