Lisa Paul
Lisa Paul is a Principal Lawyer at Maxiom with over 20 years of experience in personal injury law. She is an Accredited Injury Law Specialist who brings a wealth of experience in workers compensation and public liability matters. Lisa is well regarded in the personal injury industry and is recognised as one of the three best compensation lawyers in Melbourne. Through her long-standing memberships of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and the Law Institute of Victoria’s Workers Compensation Committee, Lisa has served on various Court and Government committees. Lisa’s experience as a leader in the personal injury field includes her most recent position as Managing Partner at a leading personal injury law firm.
Natalie Fleming
Natalie Fleming is a Senior Associate at Maurice Blackburn working in the Melbourne office. Natalie has 12 years experience in personal injury law primarily in the Road Accident area of Maurice Blackburn. She was a late starter in the law with a longstanding interest in Chinese Medicine regulation. She is also a VCAT sessional member sitting on the occupational list(Chinese Medicine).
Richard Johnson
Richard has practised solely in insurance law for over 15 years and has been integral to the growth of the Melbourne general liability practice at McCabes. With specialities in personal injury, workers liability and property damage, Richard regularly provides advice to insurers relating to complex indemnity issues and through this work is widely regarded for his exceptional defence and negotiation skills in highly technical matters. He has a special interest in Sports related injury claims and is a committee member of the Law Institute of Victoria Sports Law Committee.
Jeremy King
Jeremy King is a Principal Lawyer at Robinson Gill Lawyers. He is a personal injury lawyer with two discrete areas of expertise - police misconduct and TAC compensation claims. For the latter, he is very experienced at running TAC (motor vehicle accident) compensation claims. Jeremy was one of the four plaintiff lawyers involved in drafting the revised TAC Common Law, Impairment Assessment and No-Fault Dispute Resolution Protocols between 2014 and 2016. This was a long-term project between the Transport Accident Commission, the Law Institute of Victoria and the Australian Lawyers Alliance. He is also an active member of the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) Legal Liaison Group.
Andrew Saunders
Since joining the Bar in 2011, Andrew has developed a broad common law practice, with a strong personal injuries focus. His practice includes advice, and more particularly, appearance work for both plaintiffs and defendants in the following areas; industrial accident claims (including Serious Injury Applications), claims for statutory benefits under the Workplace Injury Rehabilitation and Compensation Act 2013, judicial review of medical panel decision, motor vehicle accident claims and public liability claims. Before signing the Bar Roll, Andrew was a senior associate at Minter Ellison, where his practice consisted primarily of industrial accident damages claims and included the management of the Latrobe Valley circuit.
