Alicia Toberty
Alicia Toberty is a Partner at Bartier Perry specialising in family law, having become a lawyer in 2007 after graduating with a degree in Law and a post-graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from Western Sydney University. She is a fully qualified Collaborative Law practitioner and is a member of The Australian Association of Collaborative Professionals, Collaborative Professionals (NSW) Inc and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals. She is a member of the Law Society of NSW and the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia. Alicia is also an Independent Children’s Lawyer and is a member of the NSW Legal Aid Commission’s Independent Children’s Lawyer Panel. Alicia provides meaningful advice and guidance to those facing challenging legal issues in all aspects of family law practice. She displays an understanding of the complex psychological-social-legal pressures her client’s face during separation and divorce and prides herself in finding a collaborative and peaceful solution with the client’s safety as the upmost concern. Alicia has been able to balance the need for sensitivity whilst maintaining a tough and robust approach in the litigious family law space.
