Siobhan Vincent
Siobhan completed her legal studies at the University of Western Australia and was admitted in 1982. She was the last articled clerk to complete articles in Family Law at Freehill, Hollingdale and Page and subsequently practiced at Liberty Barblett and O’Dea, at a time when Judges heard Divorce Applications, and it was not unusual for a junior practitioner to be briefed on multiple matters in a list (she recalls 22 Divorce Applications on one particularly torrid morning). Siobhan closed her firm in 2015, intending to retire, but has since returned to consulting, albeit not full time. She has also returned to the theatre and during the period of her semi retirement, has performed in, and directed, several award winning plays. She is currently directing Edward Albee’s “Three Tall Women” for the Garrick Theatre. Siobhan has been a member of FLPA for longer than she cares to recall and has previously served on the CPD subcommittee.
