Jane Taupin
Jane Moira Taupin has been a forensic scientist for over 30 years and is currently an independent forensic science consultant. She has reported forensic biology evidence for police agencies in Australia and the United Kingdom, including scene attendance and trials. She has performed review and defence work for Australian States, the United Kingdom, the United States and Thailand. Jane initially worked in cancer and immunology research until she joined the Australian Federal Police, working in diverse areas including drug surveillance and government fraud.
Dr Allan Watt
Dr Allan Watt served both with the New Zealand Army Regular Force as an Infantry Soldier and the New Zealand Police as a sworn Police Officer for a combined period of 18 years. . He has completed over 1000 digital forensic investigations, for either Public or Private sector agencies. He is one of a few in the world, that has a PhD in digital forensics and is former law enforcement. Dr Watt though his business Allan Watt Digital Forensics, undertakes both civil and criminal examinations of digital evidence. Dr Watts qualifications include Diploma Policing (RNZ Police College); Post Graduate Certificate in Higher Education; Learning and Teaching; Bachelor of Business Studies; Accountancy; Bachelor of Science
Dr Amanda White
Dr Amanda J White is a dually qualified Forensic Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 10 years experience. She combines clinical and forensic expertise and research skills gained from working in a variety of settings including private practice, public hospitals, correctional facilities and academia. Her PhD investigated the role of cognition in fitness to stand trial assessments and she has several publications in this area. Dr White regularly provides expert reports for a variety of courts and tribunals. She has extensive experience in both criminal and civil matters, and assessing clients with a wide range of conditions including acquired brain injuries, neurodegenerative disorders and mental health conditions.
Sean Doyle
Over his 45-year career as a forensic scientist, Sean Doyle has worked in several disciplines acquiring the knowledge and expertise to enable the review of a wide variety of evidence types. During his early career at the Laboratory of the Government Chemist and later at the UK’s Ministry of Defence he worked mainly in support of prosecution and regulatory agencies, with some notable exceptions. Together with his wife Dianne Doyle, he established Linked Forensic Consultants in 2010. A major part of the work of the Consultancy has been assessing the quality and reliability of DNA evidence presented by the prosecution in support of alleged sexual assault.
