James Harding
Combining his small business and entrepreneurial background with a deep understanding of complex issues in the property and development industry, James provides strategic advice for clients across Queensland. Alan McKernan
Alan is a special counsel in the property and development team. Alan has more than 20 years' experience in the property industry, with a particular focus on property and commercial transactions. Alan's key areas of practice are property and projects, including complex commercial property, development projects, and related transactions; management rights; and body corporate and community title. Alan also advises on leasing and licenses, easements, covenants, caveats, land due diligence, and planning and environmental compliance. His experience includes drafting and negotiating contracts for all types and sizes of properties from houses, vacant land, off-the-plan CTS, to mixed/residential and commercial, and office buildings.
Tony Biggar
Tony Biggar was admitted as a Solicitor in 1984. From 1986 to 1998 was the principal of a firm in Monto, Central Queensland. From 2000 to June 2014 Tony was a partner in BM Law, Strathpine and is now a Legal Practitioner Director with Big Law Pty Ltd. Tony practices predominately in property law, commercial law and wills and estates. Tony has been a member of the Property Law and Practice Committee of the Queensland Law Society since 2001 and has presented several papers at Property Law Seminars.
Simon LaBlack
Legal Practitioner Director for LaBlack Lawyers Pty Ltd, Simon practises exclusively in Property Law in Queensland. In 2017, he became one of the few Accredited Specialists in Queensland Property Law. He assists organisations and private clients in all property law related matters including property acquisitions and disposals, commercial property matters including leases, developments, transactions and disputes, subdivisions and developments and retirement village leases. He has acted as a specialist consultant to the profession and as a Court-Appointed Statutory Trustee for Sale.
Daniel Arnfield
Daniel Arnfield joined Property Exchange Australia Ltd (PEXA) in April 2016, having held roles specialising in Account Management and Practice Management software training to QLD law firms. Daniel Arnfield is currently a PEXA Direct Specialist providing high quality training, guidance and support to QLD Law Firms who are benefiting from the transition to e-, Conveyancing. The quality training, guidance and support Daniel has provided has been extensive across QLD and with a diverse range of law firms allowing them all to deliver superior results.
Justin McInally
Justin McInally in a partner in the commercial property team at Hopgood Ganim he has a diverse property practice working with developers, institutional investors and family offices. Justin is qualified in the UK and has worked with international firms both in England and Australia. He has been an early adopter of PEXA and was the first Queensland Lawyer to make use of PEXA Projects some 5 years ago and his firm, HopgoodGanim have the record for the most settlements in 1 day in PEXA Projects. He is joined by commercial property associate, Simone Samuel who undertakes work across commercial and retail property development and leasing, with a key interest in high value acquisitions and disposals and development site acquisition and due diligence.
Roland Taylor
Roland Taylor was admitted in 1993 to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Roland practised in the area of Commercial Litigation until 2000 before taking over Statewide Conveyancing the residential conveyancing division of Mckays Solicitors. He was made a partner of Mckays Solicitors 2003. Roland has regularly presented at Seminars for Solicitors each year since 2004. He is the author of the legal text book Agent’s Handbook.
Tim O’Dwyer
For more than 40 years Tim was a conveyancing solicitor and Tax Agent. He is also a Notary Public, with a law degree from UQ and a Master of Arts from Griffith University. In 2012 closed his Logan office, merged with Mitchells of Moorooka to become a relaxed part-time consultant solicitor (exempt from CPD obligations). Meanwhile Tim has taught Welfare Law, Real Estate Law, Commercial Law and Justice of the Peace courses at TAFE colleges, Business/Professional Communications at QUT and Vendor & Purchaser at UQ. Nationally recognised as a "real estate watchdog" and consumer advocate, he recently published his well-, regarded book "Real Estate Escapes" and regularly reports via LinkedIn on lawyers and estate agents disciplined for illegal, unethical and/or unprofessional conduct.

Directions
Sole entrance to the hotel from Turbot Street. The doors that lead from Central Station to the hotel will be locked and labeled “Meeting Point”, so guests will know where to start their journey.
