David Davis
David practices in all aspects of estate and business succession planning, estate administration and estate litigation including Superannuation Complaints Tribunal, VCAT and the Supreme Court. He has contributed to the development of succession policy at state and federal levels, has led training and education intensives for professional groups including accountants, financial planners and solicitors, and presented at state and national conferences. He is past chair of the Law Institute of Victoria Elder Law Committee, a Certified Tax Adviser with the Tax Institute of Australia, and a member of the Human Research Ethics Committee at La Trobe University.

Amy Hando
Amy practices in a broad range of commercial law, sports law, regulatory matters and white collar crime. Before coming to the Bar, Amy was the Senior Associate to the Honourable Justice Croft of the Supreme Court of Victoria, where she assisted his Honour on a broad range of commercial matters, including matters of taxation and arbitration. Prior to her time at the Court, Amy worked at Robertson Hyetts in Bendigo. Her diverse practice was primarily commercial litigation which involved disputes relating to contractual matters, banking and finance, securities, bankruptcy, insolvency as well as a range of other areas.
Joel Ruffles
Joel practises in commercial law and equity. He provides advice on a wide range of commercial disputes and represents clients in interlocutory and final hearings, primarily in the higher Victorian courts and the Federal Court. Joel conducts appeals and judicial review proceedings from lower court and tribunal decisions. His litigation experience includes contractual interpretation and disputes, equitable claims such as undue influence, unconscionable conduct and breach of confidence, restitution claims, trusts including constructive and resulting trusts, shareholder disputes and so much more.
Chris Russell
Chris is an e-discovery specialist with over 17 years’ industry experience. He has provided consulting services in several areas of litigation and investigation including construction, commercial, government investigations, class actions, and Royal Commissions for Australian and Global law firms, corporates and Australian government regulators. Chris is an expert in the use of litigation technology that includes technology-assisted review, data analytics, native file processing, document review technologies and managed services.
Kelly Czurajewski
Kelly is an e-discovery and document review specialist with over 20 years’ experience managing a broad range of legal matters. Using her technical background, project management experience and as a qualified government investigator, she supports legal, corporate and government clients during litigation, arbitration, investigations and regulatory inquiries and royal commissions. Kelly’s experience includes 15 years’ at two top tier law firms in Australia as both a technical analyst and consultant. She also spent over 4 years in the service sector where she worked on Royal Commissions and Inquiries, working with New Zealand and Australian regulatory agencies. Her last position was as an evidence analyst at ASIC.
Adam Coote
Adam practices in common law and commercial law. His common law practice is mainly in personal injuries but includes all torts. He acts for plaintiffs and defendants. Adam accepts briefs to draft paperwork, including for serious injury applications. Adam’s commercial law practice includes contractual disputes, professional negligence (for example: accountants, financial advisers and solicitors), insurance, the Australian Consumer Law and insolvency.
Vivienne Corcoran
Vivienne is an experienced professional services strategist, mentor, facilitator and marketer with law firms and legal professionals across Australia, Asia and the UK. She has written articles, a book and trained hundreds of professionals on business strategy, development, and management and has held executive marketing and business development roles in a wide range of firms. Vivienne is a qualified company director and currently on the boards of Victorian Opera and ICON APAC. She is a teaching fellow in the Masters of Legal Business Course at the College of Law. Vivienne is a keen paddle boarder.
Ian Upjohn CSC KC
Ian was called to the Melbourne Bar in 1993 and specialises in commercial law, equity and trusts, disciplinary and other tribunals and alternative dispute resolution. Ian is a co-author (with M Colbran KC) of Pleadings in Butterworths Court Forms, Precedents and Pleadings (Victoria) and a Contributing Author to Palmer on Bailment (Third Edition).
Jeremy Twigg KC
Since 1992, Jeremy Twigg has developed a commercial law practice specialising in construction, engineering and property law appearing regularly in the Superior Courts. Jeremy has acted for developers, builders, subcontractors and engineers in disputes in court and arbitration concerning commercial, residential and industrial construction, earthworks and civil works, technical design and rail and road infrastructure. He is familiar with the standard forms of contract used in Australian Engineering and Construction Works and has experience with the Building Act, Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act (Vic), (NSW) and (Qld), Domestic Building Contracts Act and the Planning and Environment Act.
Chris Molnar
Chris has practised in the area of workplace relations for over 25 years. He has extensive experience and knowledge in industrial relations, employment law, occupational health and safety, and discrimination. Chris is accredited as a specialist in Workplace Relations by the Law Institute of Victoria. He was the recipient of the prestigious President’s Award in 2009 from the Law Institute of Victoria for his contribution to the specialisation scheme. In 2016 he was awarded the LIV Rogers Legal Writing Award for the best contribution in 2015 to the Law Institute Journal. Chris has acted for individuals, corporations and public sector agencies in a wide range of areas.
Peter Bartlett
Peter has extensive experience across the full spectrum of media and communications law from both a private commercial and regulatory perspective as well as a public sector perspective. He has acted for a wide range of Australian and international media and communications companies. His experience covers providing advice on freedom of information laws and privacy issues, to media access to sporting and public events, representing clients in major defamation and breach of confidentiality court actions and in applications to oppose suppression and non-publication orders in court proceedings.
Michael Rivette
An experienced trial and appellate advocate with more than 30 years’ experience in the law, Michael has successfully argued leading decisions in commercial, intellectual property and privacy law. Michael has appeared as counsel in major privacy related cases since successfully arguing the landmark Giller v Procopets (2008) 24 VR 1. He acted as Counsel in the first privacy class action issues in the Federal Court of Australia. Michael is the Australian co-author to international texts The Law of Privacy and the Media - Tugendhat and Christie (OUP) and Remedies for Breach of Privacy (Hart). Michael is a Senior Fellow of the Melbourne University Law School, where he teaches Privacy Law in the Post Graduate programs.
Daniel Clough
Daniel regularly appears in the Supreme Court of Victoria, Federal Court, County Court of Victoria, the Courts of Appeal and VCAT. His areas of expertise are in competition and consumer law, commercial contracts, property, restraints of trade, directors’ duties and partnerships. He also actively practises in a wide range of other commercial matters, including corporations, insolvency, telecommunications, professional negligence and corporate governance, administrative law and local government. Daniel is the Chair of the Competition and Consumer Law Section of the Commercial Bar Association of Victoria, a member of the Competition and Consumer Law Committee of the Business Law Section of the Law Council of Australia, and a member of the Ethics Committee of the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. He is a nationally accredited mediator.
