Peter Townley
Peter Townley is an accredited property law specialist with over 30 years' experience, primarily in property development, construction, community titles schemes and development finance. Peter was educated at the University of Queensland and was partner of both large and mid-sized CBD commercial law firms until December 2011, when he moved to sole practice. He became an Accredited Specialist - Property Law in 2002 and is a member of the QLS Property Law Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee.
Roland Taylor
Roland Taylor was admitted in 1993 to the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia. Roland practiced in the area of Commercial Litigation until 2000 before taking over Statewide Conveyancing the residential conveyancing division of Mckays Solicitors. He was made a partner of Mckays Solicitors 2003. Roland has regularly presented at Seminars for Solicitors each year since 2004. He is the author of the legal text book Agent’s Handbook.
Peter Nugent
Peter Nugent is a Partner at Holding Redlich. Peter has over 30 years’ experience with property development and is a recognised expert on structuring property developments involving mixed uses, shared facilities and multiple stages. Peter has acted for some of Australia’s leading developers, as well as banks, managers, and bodies corporate. Peter has been listed in the 2018 to 2022 edition of The Best Lawyers in Australia for Real Property Law. He is also recognised in the 2017 to 2021 edition of Doyles Guide as a recommended lawyer in Property & Real Estate Law for Queensland.
Victoria Mercer
Victoria Mercer is a recent member of McInnes Wilson Lawyers' Superannuation and Revenue Group, working with Neal Dallas on a wide range of wills, trusts, taxation, asset protection and superannuation matters. Since finishing her Bachelor of Laws degree in 2015, Victoria has worked in the areas of estate planning, superannuation and property.
Neil Thompson
Neil Thompson is a Barrister at PD Conolly Chambers. Neil was admitted to the bar in 1981 and was previously a solicitor for 6 years. Neil mainly practices in the area of Property Law and Equity, and is a frequent contributor to CLE lectures. Neil is a contributor to Duncan Joint Venture Law in Australia and Griffith The Law and the Constitution (Supreme Court Library). Neil is also a contributor to Philosophy Now (Chicago) on logic and Proof Theory, and author of the Rights of Parties to Illegal Transactions (Federation Press).
