Joel Redman
Joel is an Associate with Slater + Gordon Lawyers and has been with them since 2012, working in Wollongong, Nowra, Tamworth, Ashfield, and Campbelltown. He now runs the Liverpool office. Joel is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law and specialises in CTP and workers compensation claims.
Will Murphy
Will is a partner at Bartier Perry. He practices in industrial accident law: workers compensation, common law claims and Work Health and Safety. In his personal injury practice Will acts exclusively for insurers and self-insurers. Will was one of the first accredited specialists in personal injury law in NSW
Amanda Bond
Amanda Bond is a partner of Gillis Delaney Lawyers who specialises in work injury damages and liability claims. She leads the worker’s compensation and work injury damages team at Gillis Delaney. Amanda has a particular interest in complex multi-party work injury damages claims involving the interaction between employers and third parties and has expertise in section 151Z claims. Amanda is an Accredited Specialist in Personal Injury Law and has over 20 years of experience in acting for injured workers, insurers and self-insurers. In the last four years Amanda has been recognised by the Doyles Guide as a leading liability lawyer, pre-eminent worker’s compensation lawyer and recommended lawyer in CTP demonstrating her breadth of experience.
Thomas Felizzi
Thomas Felizzi is a Senior Associate in the compensation team at Carroll & O’Dea Lawyers. He has worked on Stolen Generations matters and helps clients attain apologies and compensation for the wrong they have suffered as a result of being removed from their family. He has described the experience as a steep learning curve and an opportunity to learn about the first people and culture of Australia. Thomas also works on a variety of claims including workers compensation, work injury damages, public liability, motor vehicle accidents, life insurance, intentional torts, discrimination law and product liability and practices across several jurisdictions in both the Supreme and District Court.
Paul Macken
Paul Macken BA LLB is a partner of the firm of Leigh Virtue & Associates. He is an accredited specialist in personal injury law (since 1993) and has over 30 years' experience acting for workers and employers in work injury disputes. He has particular experience in representing a large number of self-insured employers in all types of work injury claims and in related industrial disputes. He is an honorary legal advisor to the NSW Self Insurers Association, the Chairman of the Medic-Legal Liaison Committee, a member of the Injury Compensation Committee and the personal injury specialist accreditation board of the Law Society of NSW.
Nicholas Studdert
Nicholas is the service line leader at Hall & Wilcox for their NSW workers compensation practice. Nicholas advises insurers on the management of claims and liability disputes and helps them to develop and implement strategies to respond to these issues. Nicholas works with a large number of insurers and employers and is regularly involved in training and educating his clients on a range of topics and is the co-author of the LexisNexis’ practical guidance for NSW work injury damages claims.
Dennis Epstein
Dennis Epstein is a Barrister at 2nd Floor, Selborne Chambers, Sydney. Dennis has been practicing in the personal injury field for over 30 years. He initially practised as a Solicitor for over 13 years including 7 years at GIO. He was admitted as a Barrister in 1995 and since that time has practice exclusively in the personal injury field, especially in workers' compensation, CTP and public liability claims. He was also appointed for several years as both a District Court and Local Court Arbitrator and has undergone mediation accreditation training.
