Ilona Millar
Ilona is the head of Baker McKenzie's Global Climate Change practice. She has worked for the last 20 years on climate law and finance, including the development of law and policy and its implementation by both governments and the private sector. This experience extends to complex multi-jurisdictional transactions as well as the development of innovative responses to climate change and sustainability problems. Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, Ilona worked at the Foundation for International Environmental Law and Development (FIELD) in London. She is also a former Principal Solicitor of the Environmental Defender's Office Ltd (NSW).
Jim Cosgriff
Jim is a principal in our commercial and property division and works closely with Cosgriff Lawyers' many property and investment clients in both NSW and Victoria. Having been born and raised in regional Victoria Jim has a sound understanding of country life. Jim's enjoys helping people and this has seen him establish trusted and long lasting relationships with many of his clients. With almost 30 years in practise as a solicitor Jim has wide- ranging experience in commercial and property law services across all sectors. Jim is passionate about our local community and was instrumental in the campaign for the funding for the new Echuca hospital. Jim is and remains a sporting tragic with an interest in most if not all sport.
Racheal Alamaris
A local to the area, Racheal has practised in regional Victoria for 19 years. She is a conscientious lawyer, who takes pride in assisting her clients to meet their goals and objectives. Racheal practices in the practice areas of property, commercial, and wills and estates, but also has extensive knowledge in water law as it pertains to those areas. Racheal deals with many farming clients in the Kyabram and district areas, as well as being engaged as agent for other law firms and national corporations for specialised rural matters.
Jonathan Caplan
Jonathan is the lead partner of Arnold Bloch Leibler’s Sydney property & development practice. His areas of expertise include commercial property law, business law and structuring of property ventures. Jonathan regularly advises large private client groups and high-net-worth individuals on a range of property related and business law matters.
