School Law: The New Workplace Health and Safety Laws in WA
New legislation passed by Parliament on 3 November 2020 means that there are significantly increased obligations on employers and “officers” to ensure the health and safety of the people in their care. Throughout the program you will work through the analysis of a scenario, demonstrating how a series of unrelated and unfortunate events could lead to your school and individual staff members of your school to need to defend their actions in court and what evidence would be required.
