Glen McLeod
Glen is independently recognised as one of Western Australia’s preeminent environmental and planning lawyers and has over 40 years experience in that field. After many years as a senior partner in major national and international law firms, he established Glen McLeod Legal in 2012 as an environmental and planning specialty practice. The firm is independently recognised as ‘First Tier’ in its area by Doyles, an independent guide to the legal profession. The practice has subspecialisations in development law, valuation, land acquisitions, injurious affection compensation contamination and climate change law.
Stephen Wright SC
Stephen has a wealth of experience in native title related issues, dating back to 1996 when he left Mallesons and joined the Western Australian State Solicitor’s Office. After 11 years there, he established a private practice, Wright Barristers & Solicitors, before joining Francis Burt Chambers at the beginning of 2010. Stephen is a leading native title barrister having been counsel in many native title claims and in ‘future act’ litigation and arbitrations at all levels (National Native Title Tribunal, Federal Court, Full Federal Court and High Court), representing native title parties and representative bodies, government and mining interests.
Mary Pringle
Mary has over 20 years' experience practising in Real Estate law, having also spent time working as a banking and finance lawyer and as an energy and resources lawyer. Mary has also spent time working in-house for a public company in the resources sector. As a result of this experience, Mary has acted for a wide range of clients on a wide range of matters. These matters have included subdivisions, environmental and planning issues, development projects, acquisitions and disposals of shopping centres, office buildings and industrial complexes, joint ventures, strata titles and leasing both for landlords and tenants.
Tim Poli
Tim is an experienced tax lawyer who provides advice regarding all Commonwealth and State taxes, ATO audits, tax litigation, estate planning, superannuation, trust law and tax and/or commercial crime. His clients range from individuals through to listed public companies. He represents and appears for clients in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and all State and Federal courts across a variety of matters from Part IVC tax proceedings to tax prosecution matters. Tim has a Bachelor of Laws and is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia.
