Malcolm is a Partner at Gadens Lawyers and has a strong practice in commercial property acquisitions, dispositions, conveyancing, retirement/aged care and subdivisional matters. Malcolm's clients include a number of institutional lenders, property groups and developers, and numerous private and corporate clients., His expertise is widely recognised. Malcolm is a regular presenter at seminars organised by the Leo Cussen Institute, Legalwise Seminars and the Law Institute of Victoria. Malcolm is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in property law. Professional affiliations include membership of the Property Law Section of the Law Institute of Victoria, and membership of the Certified Practising Accountants Australia.
Rochelle Castro
Rochelle is the principal of RC & Co Lawyers, an international and specialised boutique law firm with branches in Melbourne, Perth and Makati Philippines. She practices in the areas of strata, construction, property, litigation, insolvency and immigration. Rochelle is also a trainer of Strata Community Association providing strata education in all States in Australia and New Zealand. She also presents to a number of private companies of the commercial and strata sphere. She is a founding member of Club United Business Melbourne and is currently undertaking Masters in Construction Law at Melbourne University.
Hana Lee
Hana is a solicitor at Forty Four Degrees. She practices in commercial, property, tech and startup law. Hana received her JD from the University of Western Australia and has a background in international development and policy research, having studied in South Korea and the United States. Nathan Papson
Nathan is Papson Legal's principal lawyer, with experience in the fields of SMSF law, taxation law, estate planning and commercial law. During his career he has worked in the taxation division of a Big 4 accounting firm as well as a number of prominent SMSF legal practices. His qualifications include a Master of Laws from the University of Melbourne (focussed on taxation), as well as industry qualifications of Chartered Tax Adviser (by The Taxation Institute) and SMSF Specialist Adviser (by the SMSF Association - a leading industry group on SMSFs). Gabrielle Guthrie
Gabrielle is a specialist environment, planning and compliance lawyer and Principal of Guthrie Legal. She has a broad practice in advisory and contentious matters and a wealth of technical and tactical experience in due diligence. Prior to founding Guthrie Legal in 2016, Gabrielle led the Environment practice at Lander & Rogers and worked for DLA Piper in London. Gabrielle is currently Deputy Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria’s Environmental Issues Committee and a Committee Member of the Australasian Land & Groundwater Association's Melbourne Branch.
Kelly Young
Kelly is a fully unrestricted Conveyancing Licence holder and sole director of Estate Conveyancing, located in Macleod. Kelly has been working in the legal industry for 20 years with experience in the property fields of settlements, conveyancing and residential and commercial lending. Starting out as a junior paralegal in stamping, registration and settlements, moving onto residential mortgages, Conveyancing and also Commercial Lending, Kelly has a background working in accountant firms, law firms and conveyancing offices in Melbourne city, rural areas of Victoria and in England. Kelly is a committee member of the Australian Institute of Conveyancers VIC Division.
Greg Cooper
Greg is a Business Development Manager with Stewart Title Limited. Greg is responsible for advising lawyers, conveyancers and their clients about the coverage and benefits provided by a title insurance policy.
Tom Champion
Tom has a broad range of experience in complex building subdivisions, engineering surveying and consulting on issues relating to land status and development. His experience and expertise provides invaluable assistance to the consultants and construction teams throughout the various stages of the project. Tom is responsible for managing the expectations of clients and providing them with professional advice. He also instructs survey staff in project matters and regularly deals and consults with Council, Service Authorities, Government Departments and Project Stakeholders.
Emma Elsworth
Emma has practised exclusively in property law since her admission as a practitioner in 2002. She is an Accredited Specialist in Property Law by the Law Institute of Victoria. She has assisted foreign clients in the purchase and sale of properties, provided stamp duty advice and obtained Foreign Investment Review Board approvals. She also acts for local clients in various property transactions and dealings. Emma has worked with an identity agent company to provide a verification of identity service in Beijing as an alternative to the Australian Consulate for China based clients.
