Presenters
Tom Wodak was a judge of the County Court of Victoria between August 1994 and April 2009, when he resigned. Between March 2010 and March 2014, he was Principal Character Decision Maker, Department of Immigration and Citizenship, making administrative decisions under delegation by the Minister. Tom has been involved in judicial training and professional development, throughout Australia for almost 20 years and has co-authored several books.
Bob Milstein spent several years working in the USA and was admitted to the New York Bar. In 1984, he returned to Australia to commence legal practice with a focus on medical negligence. In mid-2003, he set up a business to provide health-law training, other health-law services, and plain-language training. Bob has long been aware that clear communication - or its absence - often lies at the heart of legal disputes.
