Daniel O’Sullivan, Barrister, Denman Chambers
Daniel O'Sullivan is a barrister practising from Denman Chambers in Sydney. Daniel commenced work in the area of industrial and employment law in 1989 as an industrial officer with the Electrical Trade Union. He then practised as a solicitor, gaining specialist accreditation with the New South Wales Law society in Industrial and Employment Law and was called to the Bar in 2009.
Christa Ludlow, Principal Consultant, Weir Consulting
B.A., LL.B., M.A., Cert IV Investigations, M.Sc. (Coach.Psych.) Christa is a lawyer, workplace investigator, mediator and coach with Weir Consulting (National). She held the role of Assistant Crown Solicitor, Employment Law, at the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office from 2006 to 2013, managing a team providing legal services to the NSW Government. From 2016 to the present she has been a part-time Senior Member with the Civil and Administrative Tribunal. She is an accredited mediator and has investigated allegations of workplace bullying, discrimination and harassment, as well as fraud and corrupt conduct. Christa has a Master of Science degree in Coaching Psychology from the University of Sydney. She has coached and trained lawyers and other professionals on career progression, ethical conduct, interpersonal behaviours and wellbeing at work.
Jarrad Parker, Executive Counsel, Nine Entertainment Co.
After working with top tier national and global firms for over a decade, Jarrad is now an Executive Counsel at Nine Entertainment Co, working in both media and employment law. In the media law space, he provides pre- and post-publication advice and representation in relation to television, print and radio publications, in areas including defamation, contempt of court, statutory restrictions on publication, copyright and trespass. Jarrad also has expertise in relation to the full range of employment law issues, including drafting employment documentation, delivering training to employees and managers, and providing advice and acting in relation to claims of discrimination, unfair dismissal, breach of contract, bullying and harassment and breaches of the general protections provisions.
Andrew Bailey, Barrister, Frederick Jordan Chambers
Andrew Bailey commenced practice at the Bar in August 2014 after 12 years in practice as a solicitor: initially in Queensland, but principally in New South Wales since 2003, with responsibility for the conduct of matters in Victoria. Andrew accepts briefs in most areas of practice: particularly administrative law, bankruptcy and insolvency, commercial, construction, and equity. In his time as a solicitor, he has had some familiarity with costs litigation on behalf of firms he has worked for. This has developed into a discrete area of Andrew's practice at the Bar. Having an undergraduate degree in psychology, Andrew maintains an academic interest in psychiatric injury as a discrete legal topic.
