Samuel Woff
Sam has broad experience across a range of construction litigation matters including domestic and international arbitrations, litigation in the Victorian Supreme Court and security of payment adjudications. He has built a reputation for considered advice and careful planning, which ensures that his clients obtain the best possible outcome in their litigation. A lateral thinker, Sam is focused on ensuring his client’s position is robust, defensible and tested, ultimately setting up the client’s case for the best prospects of success. Sam is also a pro bono advocate for clients, and sits as a member of the Melbourne Community Committee, helping to co-ordinate the charitable contributions, of both time and money, of the firm.
William Thomas
William is a barrister at the Victorian Bar. His practice focuses upon commercial, construction and insurance-related disputes. Will is regularly briefed in construction cases on behalf of builders, building owners and other professionals, such as architects, engineers and surveyors. He has appeared in all Victorian courts and tribunals, as well as in domestic and international arbitrations and expert determination proceedings. Will is a member of Melbourne TEC Chambers (MTECC), the Commercial Bar Association and Young’s List Barristers.
Patricia Saw
Patricia is a Senior Associate in the Environment and Planning team at Allens, based in Melbourne. Her areas of expertise covers the broad sweep of legal issues in the environment and planning world including assisting clients navigate optimal pathways to obtaining environmental and planning approvals, acting in environment and planning litigation (VCAT, the Magistrates Court, the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal). She also works extensively in climate change, renewable energy, native title, Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal cultural heritage, contaminated land, waste management and resource recovery, environmental sustainability, greenfield, urban and industrial developments, and the water industry.
