Paul Zaparas
Paul Zaparas is a partner at Zaparas Lawyers. Paul has over 13 years of experience in personal injury litigation. Paul is the head of the WorkCover department at Zaparas lawyers. He has a passion for helping those injured as a result of a workplace injury, supporting them through their compensable journey and striving for the best outcomes possible. He has successfully represented thousands of clients and is regarded as being one of the most experienced and highly respected lawyers in personal injury litigation. Paul also has extensive experience in strategic management and leadership
Judge Andrea Tsalamandris
Judge Tsalamandris was appointed to the County Court of Victoria in February 2016. Prior to her appointment, she had practised in personal injury law for over 20 years and was an Accredited Specialist. She was a Partner at Holding Redlich, where she was the Diversity Partner, and was also actively involved in pro bono cases, including the Stolen Generation litigation and the case against special religious instruction in state primary schools. In the County Court, Judge Tsalamandris is the Head of the Common Law Division and is also the Judge responsible for hearing all COVID-19 related applications as the Common Law Division’s Duty Judge. She shares the responsibility for the Medical Negligence List with Judge Pillay and is also the Court’s IT Judge.
Geraldine Collins
Geraldine Collins is a Principal at Maurice Blackburn. She has more than 20 years’ legal experience in personal injury compensation claims. Doyles Guide lists Geraldine as a leading lawyer in motor vehicle accident compensation law in Victoria. She is a LIV accredited specialist in personal injuries law. She has been the Victorian and National President of the Australian Lawyers Alliance and is a member of the working group which has finalised the Supplementary Common Law Protocols, that commenced 1 January 2020. She sits on the TAC Legal Liaison Committee, LIV TAC Committee, TAC Protocols Review Forum, TAC legislative review committee and the LIV Specialisation Committee.
Stella Gold
Stella Gold mostly practices in personal injury, equal opportunity, and administrative law (medical panel judicial reviews). She has published research in OHS, and been awarded academic prizes at a Masters Level, including in Administrative Law.
Andrew Seiter
Andrew Seiter co-leads our Melbourne general liability practice. He regularly acts for a range of local and international insurers and specialises in handling claims involving public occupier's liability, statutory recovery actions, worker's compensation, product and public liability, and property damage. Additionally, Andrew has specific expertise advising on occupational health and safety (including WorkSafe prosecutions), asbestos and dust diseases, government liability, subrogated recoveries, policy interpretation, statutory indemnity and double insurance issues. Andrew regularly presents on personal injury and property damage topics directly to insurers and brokers, and at industry forums.
Naomi Riggs
Naomi Riggs is a Principal lawyer at Rubicon Compensation Lawyers. She is an accredited specialist in personal injury law and has worked in the area of personal injuries and employment law since 2005. She is a fierce and tactical litigator. She has a genuine desire to assist individuals who have been wronged, a genuine nature and an ability to relate to and understand clients. In 2017 she ran a jury trial for a client with a psychiatric injury which ran for over three weeks in the Supreme Court and delivered a verdict of in excess of $1million to the client.
