Warren Denny
Warren is the National Head of Real Estate and has over 30 years’ experience advising clients on a wide variety of real estate transactions. Warren is highly skilled in the preparation and negotiation of all common real estate transactions, including leasing, acquisition and sales. Warren’s capability also extends to more complex transactions such as development and fund through agreements, put and call options, and large commercial property transactions. He also has experience in strata title residential, commercial and mixed use developments, aged care, receiver and mortgagee sales, joint venture agreements, title structures, staged developments and real estate dispute resolution.
Mitchel Batty
Mitchel was called to the bar in 2012. He is a member of Byth Chambers. Mitchel's practice causes him to regularly appear in the Planning and Environment Court. Prior to being called to the bar, Mitchel worked as a solicitor at both DLA Phillips Fox and Thomsons Lawyers.
Tim O’Dwyer
For more than 40 years Tim was a conveyancing solicitor and Tax Agent. He is also a Notary Public, with a law degree from UQ and a Master of Arts from Griffith University. In 2012 closed his Logan office, merged with Mitchells of Moorooka to become a relaxed part-time consultant solicitor (exempt from CPD obligations). Meanwhile Tim has taught Welfare Law, Real Estate Law, Commercial Law and Justice of the Peace courses at TAFE colleges, Business/Professional Communications at QUT and Vendor & Purchaser at UQ. Nationally recognised as a "real estate watchdog" and consumer advocate, he recently published his well-, regarded book "Real Estate Escapes" and regularly reports via LinkedIn on lawyers and estate agents disciplined for illegal, unethical and/or unprofessional conduct.
Daniel Arnfield
Daniel joined Property Exchange Australia Ltd (PEXA) in April 2016, having held roles specialising in Account Management and Practice Management software training to QLD law firms. Daniel Arnfield is currently a PEXA Direct Specialist providing high quality training, guidance and support to QLD Law Firms who are benefiting from the transition to e-, Conveyancing. Taryn is a Principal at McInnes Wilson Lawyers' Brisbane office.
