Aileen Slattery
Aileen Slattery is a Solicitor-Director of ATW Family Law. Aileen has practised exclusively in Family Law since her admission in 2001 and became an Accredited Specialist in Family Law in 2007. In 2014 Aileen completed her training as a Collaborative Lawyer and now incorporates interdisciplinary collaborative practice in her repertoire of skills. Aileen has experience in all areas of Family Law Practice including all aspects of divorce, parenting and financial disputes, specialising in complex property and financial matters. Aileen has represented clients in mediations, collaborative matters and has conducted many complex litigation matters.
Melanie Stern
Melanie Stern is a family law specialist accredited by the Law Society of New South Wales and trained in Collaborative Practice. Melanie joined the practice of Stern Law Solicitors in 2019 after years of working in top family law firms and prior to that, as a legal associate to Judges of the Family Court of Australia. In 2018, Melanie was recognised in the Doyle’s Guide as a “Rising Star” in family law. Melanie provides expert advice and representation in a broad range of legal matters, including family law, personal injury and wills & estate matters.
Stephen Page
Stephen Page is a director of Page Provan, Brisbane. Stephen was admitted as a solicitor in 1987 and has been a Queensland Law Society family law accredited specialist since 1996. Stephen is a Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers (including being a member of its Surrogacy/Parentage Project and LGBT Committees) and of the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys, and is an international representative on the ART Committee of the American Bar Association. Stephen is the founder of the LGBT Family Law Institute in Australia. He is a member of the Equity and Diversity Committee of the Queensland Law Society.
Glenn Thompson OAM
Glenn Thompson is an accredited specialist in Family Law who is a Partner of the firm Newnhams Solicitors. Glenn has specialised in Family Law for 33 years, was a member of the Family Court's Steering Committee on the Children's Cases Program, is a current member of the Family Issues, Committee of the Law Society of New South Wales, a fellow of the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers, and is on the Steering Committee of the Greater Sydney Family Law Pathways Network having been the chair for 12 years. Glenn is also a member of the Australian Law Reform Commission Advisory Committee
