John Davies
John Davies was called to the Bar in 2001 and practices principally in the area of commercial disputes. Prior to being called to the Bar John practised as a solicitor and lawyer in Australia and Japan. John holds degrees in Arts and Law from the University of Queensland and the degree Master of Law from Cambridge University.
Jake McKinnon
Jake McKinnon is a research professional at Cushman and Wakefield, a global commercial real estate Firm. Previously, Jake worked in property consulting with a focus on research, spatial analysis and planning. He graduated with from Griffith University with a degree in Urban and Environmental planning.
Taryn Hartley
Taryn is a principal at McInnes Wilson Lawyers' Brisbane office. Taryn practises in the firm's Revenue, Structuring and Advisory Team and advises clients on a range of matters including business sale and purchase transactions, direct and indirect tax, debt and equity instruments, capital raising and M&A and a wide range of other commercial matters.
Matthew Derick
Matthew Derrick is a property Partner based in Brisbane. Matthew advises on property and infrastructure development, land tenure and title issues, acquisitions and disposals, as well as structuring complex tenure and management regimes for mixed use projects. He is acknowledged for his expertise and involvement in some of Australia's most complex and innovative community title and volumetric deals.
Cameron Graham
Cameron joined Thynne + Macartney in August 2017. Previously he was a partner with Barry Nilsson for more than 10 years. For the last 20 years, Cameron's practice has focused on commercial and retail leasing, predominantly acting for landlords such as Suncorp, AMP, Lend Lease, Colonial First State, Village Fair and YFG Shopping Centres. He currently supervises retail leasing for several shopping centres in South East Qld. Cameron has considerable experience negotiating purchase, sale and leasing transactions for retail and commercial properties.
