John Syminton
John is a Principal of Warren Syminton Ralph Pty Ltd (being an incorporated legal practice). Prior to joining the firm, John was a partner of Freehills in Perth for many years. Warren Syminton Ralph has an office in Fremantle and acts primarily on commercial property transactions. The firm currently acts for a number of corporations including major listed ASX corporations. John's principal area of expertise is in commercial property and commercial agreements. John is a member of the Law Society of Western Australia and for many years was a member of the Law Society Committee which deals with drafting of the General Conditions for Sale of Land in Western Australia. He is a former Chairperson of the Legal Practice Board. He has provided Law Society Seminar papers on matters relating to property.
Jim Tsagalis
Jim is the Managing Director of Lease Equity, one of Australia's leading commercial property agencies. He has over 25 years of experience in property including retail, industrial and commercial and sales and asset management. He has personally transacted in excess of 2,000 leasing deals totalling over $200M in rent, averaging approximately 100 deals per year. He has also been active in the sales arena having transacted over $150M in sales. Jim is "hands on" both owning and running Lease Equity whilst being at the forefront of master planning advisory and transactions. Some of the notable projects he has undertaken include 140, Brookfield Place, enex100, Cloisters Shopping Arcade, and Whitford City all of which have benefited significantly with Jim's expertise and extensive network. Jim is internationally recognised for his property expertise. He consults to some of Australia and the world's largest REITS, a number of country's sovereign funds, WA government and a number of local councils.
Tim Poli
Tim is a Director at Kings Park Legal. His clients range from individuals to listed public companies and he provides advice regarding all Commonwealth and State taxes, ATO audits, tax litigation and business structures / restructuring. He represents and appears for clients in the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and all State and Federal courts across a variety of tax and superannuation related matters from Part IVC tax proceedings to tax prosecution matters. He is admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Western Australia and the High Court of Australia. Tim was named the Tax Institute's Emerging Tax Star in 2016.
John Park
John has advised about the establishment of Strata complexes with a value of over $300m and on numerous Strata matters. His practice covers a variety of clients including property development and building companies, strata companies and strata proprietors. His commercial dispute resolution experience ranges from small matters through to complex appellate court matters. He is adept at advising about and conducting all litigious matters through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation in all Courts and Tribunals and has represented clients in various strata title related disputes in the Supreme and District Courts, the State Administrative Tribunal and in many private disputes. John has strong experience and skill in relation to advising in all aspects of commercial advice, strata titles, dispute resolution, litigation and building and construction. In 2019 John’s firm Park Legal Solutions merged with Kott Gunning Lawyers. Prior to establishing Park Legal Solutions in 2005, John practised at Freehills (Perth and Sydney), Slater & Gordon Lawyers (Sydney). Before practising law, John had diverse and successful careers in the Australian Army and the Australian Federal Police during which he developed outstanding leadership, strategic and communication skills.
Mary Pringle
Mary has over 20 years' experience practising in Real Estate law, having also spent time working as a banking and finance lawyer and as an energy and resources lawyer. Mary has also spent time working in-house for a public company in the resources sector. As a result of this experience, Mary has acted for a wide range of clients on a wide range of matters. These matters have included subdivisions, environmental and planning issues, development projects, acquisitions and disposals of shopping centres, office buildings and industrial complexes, joint ventures, strata titles and leasing both for landlords and tenants. Mary has acquired a broad range of experience and skills and a good understanding of what clients require from their lawyers, both as to quality and practicality of advice as well as accessibility and responsiveness.
