Carina Ford is a Fellow of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA), and a member of the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) Immigration and Administrative Law Specialisation Law Committees, the Migration Law Committee (of which she was also chairperson in 2009 and 2010), the Legacy Caseload working group and the Refugee Law Reform Committee. She is also a member of the Steering committee of the Law Council of Australia. She has been a registered migration agent since 1998 and is also a registered New Zealand Migration Adviser and a member of the NZAMI.

Rick has extensive experience with all areas of migration law, including skilled migration, business migration (in particular 457 / TSS, ENS and RSMS applications), complex appeals and family migration. He is a regular presenter of migration law and is a member of the MIA, LIV and ILAA. Rick is a member of the Hockey Victoria Disciplinary Tribunal. He is fluent in German.

Sophie Manera is the principal solicitor of Rothstein Lawyers, a boutique law firm specialising in immigration and employment law. She became a partner in the firm aged 27, and took over from her mentor and business partner (who retired) aged 28. Sophie specialises in complex migration matters, including representing clients with character and health concerns, business migration, representing clients at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and courts and making requests for Ministerial Intervention. Sophie is the Vice-President of the Migration Institute of Australia’s Western Australia State Committee and is the chairperson of the mentoring subcommittee.
