Robyn Richardson is an Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law and in 2017 was recognized in the Doyle's Guide as a Leading Criminal Defence Lawyer in New South Wales. Robyn has worked exclusively in criminal law since being admitted as a lawyer to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2008. Robyn has worked for the New South Wales Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions as well as leading criminal defence firms in Sydney. Robyn also had the unique opportunity to intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Robyn has worked in sole practice since 2013 and her practice spans the Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court of New South Wales. As well as being an Accredited Specialist in Criminal Law Robyn holds a Master's Degree in Law from the University of Sydney and a Master's Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of Melbourne.
Brett Thomas was admitted as solicitor in 1986. He has practised Criminal Law for over 20 years primarily in the Local Court. Brett has been an Accredited Specialist - Criminal Law from Law Society of NSW since 1994. He has been a member NSW Law Society Criminal Law Committee since 1999 and is currently Deputy Chair. He has appeared in Local Court and District Court in all type of criminal matters with a particular emphasis on serious traffic matters. Brett has been a member Criminal Law Specialist Accreditation Advisory Committee from 2012. He was also President of the St George/Sutherland Regional Law Society 2000/2001. Brett previously worked at Willis and Bowring until 2013 and Macedone Legal at Miranda until the end of 2016. He was sworn in as Magistrate of the Local Court in February 2017 and has just completed a two year stint on the Kempsey, Macksville and Bellingen circuit and is now based at the Downing Centre
Anthony Bellanto QC was called to the Bar in 1967 and has practised in all areas of law. In 1975 he was appointed Crown Counsel and later Senior Crown Counsel in Hong Kong. He returned to Australia in 1978 and was commissioned a Crown Prosecutor for six years. He returned to private practice in 1984 and took silk in July 1988. His principal area of practice is criminal law - trial advocacy, sentencing and appeals. He is an active member of the NSW Bar Association, has served on the NSW Bar Council and is actively involved in the Bar Reading Course and Continuing Professional Development. He is also the advisory editor of Sentencing Law, New South Wales, published by LexisNexis in 2003.
